Cool Brands 2008/09 Results

The results are in for 2008/09′s “Cool Brands” There are certainly some great ones in there. However, what we are wondering is how many have you actually come into use of? I managed to get a total of 10. That makes me 50% cool and 50% square. I’m luke warm and vaguely popular.

Hmmm, I also get 10 Dom, the question is…where are you parking the Aston? Or did you get double for spending lots of time in the house playing Nintendo?
On a serious note – I agree, there are some which are great, a few I’d not quite describe as ‘cool’ though.

I’m surprised anything has beaten iPhone to be honest.
I’m not saying an iPhone is cooler than an Aston Martin DB7 or anything but at the moment I’d say nothings cooler than having a shiny black iPhone in your hand…

True!
That’s what i feel like anyway. A tad cool with the iphone.
Just thought it might be interesting to reference the Financial Times Most Successful Brands” results and check if the cool factor comes into success.
There are plenty of cool “losers” for example “The Dude” in the Big Lebowski. But ultimately despite being thoroughly likeable, at the end of the film, he’s in no better position than he was before.
Only Google and Apple make the Top 20.
